  • Virginia ranked 30th in Pasture Land Usage by using 1,373,000 acres of land in 2005. The average for all states for Pasture Land Usage was 11,500,000 acres.


  • Virginia ranked 19th in Forest Land Usage by using 15,372,000 acres of land in 2005. The average for all states for Forest Land Usage was 12,768,000 acres.


  • Virginia ranked 33rd in Special Land Usage by using 1,590,000 acres of land in 2005. The average for all states for Special Land Usage was 5,820,000 acres.
