  • New Mexico ranked 39th in Petroleum CO2 Emissions by emitting 17.4 Million Metric Tons of Carbon Dioxide in 2005. The average for all states was 51.8 Million Metric Tons of Carbon Dioxide emitted from Petroleum.


  • New Mexico ranked 31st in NaturalGas CO2 Emissions by emitting 12.0 Million Metric Tons of Carbon Dioxide in 2005. The average for all states was 23.2 Million Metric Tons of Carbon Dioxide emitted from NaturalGas.
