  • Michigan ranked 29th in Pasture Land Usage by using 1,561,000 acres of land in 2005. The average for all states for Pasture Land Usage was 11,500,000 acres.


  • Michigan ranked 9th in Forest Land Usage by using 18,616,000 acres of land in 2005. The average for all states for Forest Land Usage was 12,768,000 acres.


  • Michigan ranked 17th in Special Land Usage by using 2,685,000 acres of land in 2005. The average for all states for Special Land Usage was 5,820,000 acres.
