  • Hawaii ranked 37th in Pasture Land Usage by using 1,002,000 acres of land in 2005. The average for all states for Pasture Land Usage was 11,500,000 acres.


  • Hawaii ranked 42nd in Forest Land Usage by using 1,552,000 acres of land in 2005. The average for all states for Forest Land Usage was 12,768,000 acres.


  • Hawaii ranked 42nd in Special Land Usage by using 769,000 acres of land in 2005. The average for all states for Special Land Usage was 5,820,000 acres.


  • Hawaii ranked 42nd in Urban Land Usage by using 227,000 acres of land in 2005. The average for all states for Urban Land Usage was 1,168,000 acres.
