Bishop Statement on Rescindment of Hydraulic Fracturing Rule

WASHINGTON, D.C. , December 29, 2017 -

Today, the Department of the Interior rescinded the Bureau of Land Management's hydraulic fracturing rule. Chairman Rob Bishop (R-UT) issued the following statement:

"I applaud the Trump administration for reversing this duplicative and overreaching rule. Robust, tailored regulation at the state level is a better approach. I look forward to working with the administration to realize this same approach in other areas of resource management."
