Chicago - June 16, 2009 --- E.P.A.'s Mud Puppy research boat is sampling contaminated sediment in Monroe, Michigan's Raisin River over the next 2 weeks.

WHAT: Sampling to determine the extent of PCB contamination in Raisin River sediment and to collect physical and engineering information required to complete design work for a potential sediment cleanup project.
WHEN: June 15-27.
WHERE: The lower 1.2 miles of the Raisin River, from the turning basin to the mouth of the river.
WHO: E.P.A. scientists.
