E.P.A. joins Clemson University and the City of Aiken for Green Infrastructure Plan Kickoff Ceremony

(ATLANTA - February 16, 2010) E.P.A. (EPA) Acting Deputy Regional Administrator Beverly Banister will join officials from Clemson University and the city of Aiken to celebrate Aiken's Green Infrastructure Plan kickoff ceremony in Aiken, SC. This project, funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), is a partnership between the city of Aiken and Clemson University that exhibits considerable initiative in the field of stormwater management. The ceremony will highlight the Plan with a demonstration planting of a rain garden.
