CHICAGO (Apr. 10, 2008) - E.P.A. Region five has produced 2 30 2nd radio public service announcements that are now accessible on EPA's Web site: http://www.epa.gov/region5/earthday/audio.htm The announcements ask listeners to join EPA's Great Lakes Earth Day 2008 Challenge and protect the Great Lakes by safely disposing of unwanted medicines and recycling outdated electronics such as cell phones, MP3 players and computers. The goal of the challenge is to collect one million pounds of e-waste and one million pills between April 19 and 27.
