Morris Bullock named Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry

RICHLAND, Wash. - Morris Bullock, a Lab Fellow at the D.O.E.'s Pacific Northwest National Lab, has been selected as a Fellow in the Royal Society of Chemistry.
The Royal Society of Chemistry is the biggest organization in Europe for advancing the chemical sciences and is supported by a worldwide network of members and an international publishing business. Their activities include education, conferences, science policy and the promotion of chemistry to the public.
Bullock was acknowledged for his "significant contributions to the chemical sciences" and for winning the organization's 2013 Homogeneous Catalysis award earlier this year. In addition to his internationally acknowledged research efforts, he is also the director of the Center for Molecular Electrocatalysis, a D.O.E. Energy Frontier Research Center. The Center is led by PNNL that is focused on developing a comprehensive understanding of how chemical and electrical energy is stored and utilized for applications in the development of non-fossil fuel sources.
Bullock joined PNNL in 2006 and has in excess of 110 publications overall during his career. He earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry in 1979 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a doctorate in chemistry in 1983 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
