WASHINGTON, DC - Later today, June 3, 2008, U.S. Secretary of Energy Samuel W. Bodman will host a press briefing at the Countrywide Press Club where he will declare the submittal of a license application to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to construct the Nation's 1st deep geologic repository for spent nuclear fuel and high-level radioactive waste, currently stored at 121 temporary locations in 39 states across the nation.
