WASHINGTON, DC - Tuesday, May 27, 2008, D.O.E. (DOE) Assistant Secretary for Nuclear Energy Dennis R. Spurgeon will deliver remarks at the 2008 Yearly Meeting on Nuclear Technology hosted by the German Atomic Forum and the German Nuclear Society in Hamburg, Germany. Assistant Secretary Spurgeon is expected to highlight the potential growth of nuclear power in the U.S. and around the world as well as the international activities being carried out by the Global Nuclear Energy Partnership (GNEP).
