WASHINGTON, DC - On Thursday, June 19, 2008, D.O.E. (DOE) Director of the Office of Civilian Radioactive Waste Management Ward Sproat will deliver opening remarks at a "walk-through" of DOE's license application for the suggested high-level nuclear waste repository at Yucca Mountain, Nevada. D.O.E. will explain the layout and organization of the application to the staff of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission during a public meeting at the NRC headquarters.
