Senior D.O.E. Official in Las Vegas to Highlight D.O.E. Efforts to Advance Yucca Mountain Plan

WASHINGTON, DC - This week, D.O.E. (DOE) Director of the Office of Civilian Radioactive Waste Management Ward Sproat will travel to Las Vegas to address the Nevada State Legislature Committee on High-Level Radioactive Waste on Tuesday and the U.S. Nuclear Waste Technical Review Board Winter Board Meeting on Wednesday. Director Sproat is expected to update the committee and the board on Yucca Mountain accomplishments in 2007 and plan priorities for 2008.
