WASHINGTON - E.P.A. will hold a press teleconference to declare its findings in the evaluation of spot-on products for dogs and cats.
Following reports of an increase in incidents involving spot-on tick-and-flea products for dogs and cats, E.P.A. conducted an evaluation of the safety and efficacy of these spot-on products. This press teleconference will declare the results of that evaluation and the subsequent steps that E.P.A. projects to take. Spot-on products are applied by squeezing the entire contents of a vial or tube directly to the skin between the animal's shoulder blades or along the back.
