WASHINGTON - July 10-11
th, E.P.A. Acting Administrator Bob Perciasepe will join leaders from Canada and Mexico to discuss the 3 countries' shared goals of greening transportation in North America, adapting to climate change and addressing hazardous waste across the continent.
Acting Administrator Perciasepe will join Mexican Environment Secretary Juan José Guerra and Canadian Assistant Deputy Minister for International Affairs Dan McDougall in Los Cabos, Mexico for the 20
th Regular Session of the Council for the Commission on Environmental Cooperation (CEC). During the council session, Acting Administrator Perciasepe will discuss the CEC's Operational Project for 2013-2014 and ongoing efforts to create a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable North America.
The CEC is an international organization established in 1994 by the United States, Canada, and Mexico under the North American Arrangement on Environmental Cooperation (NAAEC).
