BOSTON - Following requests from the public, E.P.A. is extending the public review and review period on its Suggested Cleanup Project for the Nuclear Metals Superfund Location in Concord, Massachusetts
Public comments on the Suggested Cleanup Project will be accepted through Jan. 14, 2015. E.P.A. will also hold a formal public hearing, where oral comments will be accepted on the Suggested Plan, on Wed. Dec. 10, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at the Concord Town House, Second Floor, 22 Monument Square, Concord, Massachusetts
The Suggested Project explains the various cleanup options being considered by E.P.A. for the Site, including EPA's preferred cleanup alternative. The document is accessible at: http://www.epa.gov/region1/superfund/sites/nmi/568091.pdf .
E.P.A. held a Public Informational meeting on the Suggested Cleanup Project on Nov. 12. E.P.A. initiated the formal public review period on the Suggested Cleanup Project on Nov. 13, 2014.
