(01/12/16 - ATLANTA) - On Thursday, January 14, 2016, the E.P.A. (EPA) will conduct a public meeting and location tour to present the details of the Evaluation and Cost Analysis (EE/CA) Report for a non-time critical cleanup of the Clinch River Corporation Superfund Location (Site) in Harriman, TN.

The EE/CA Report, which has been prepared in accordance with the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act and the National Oil and Hazardous Substances Contingency Plan, describes objectives of the removal action and evaluates alternatives for minimizing or preventing the potential for off-site migration of non-hazardous Location materials in surface water and storm water at the Clinch River Corporation Superfund Site. The 2 alternatives evaluated in the EE/CA Report will be presented during the meeting. A walking tour of the Location will be conducted at 4:00 PM followed by the meeting at 6:00 PM.
