(Lenexa, Kan., June 20, 2013) - E.P.A. Region seven will host a public meeting on Tuesday evening, June 25, at Pattonville High School in Maryland Heights, Mo., to discuss the Agency's ongoing work at the West Lake Landfill Superfund Site, Bridgeton, Mo.

E.P.A. Regional Administrator Karl Brooks, along with other E.P.A. Region seven staff and representatives from EPA's partner agencies, will attend the meeting to share information and answer questions about EPA's ongoing work at the site, including recent groundwater sampling and radiation screening activities.

The meeting will begin in the Pattonville High School Auditorium, 2497 Creve Coeur Road. After an introductory session, the meeting will move into the school's cafeteria so that attendees can participate in a public availability session with E.P.A. and state environmental and health staffs. The event will conclude with a question-and-answer session back in the auditorium.
