DALLAS - (March 31, 2014) The E.P.A. (EPA) will conduct ten, five-year reviews to ensure that cleanup of each location is working as intended and continues to protect public health and the environment. The reviews also identify any deficiencies and presents recommendations to address them. In conducting the five-year review, E.P.A. will interview local citizens, review location operations, maintenance and monitoring information.

Five-year reviews are required by law under Superfund and provides the public with an opportunity to evaluate preliminary findings and provide input on any potential follow up activities that may be required after the review process.
