DALLAS - (Sept. 21, 2015) The U.S-E.P.A. (EPA) and the Mexican Environment and Natural Resources Secretariat (SEMARNAT) are holding their 1st biennial national coordinators meeting. The meeting is part of the Border 2020 U.S.-Mexico Environmental Program. The meeting will take place in El Paso, Texas, on Sept. 21 - 23, 2015.
During the meeting citizens will have the opportunity to provide feedback and learn about recent accomplishments of the program. The public review session is on Tuesday, Sept. 22 from ten - 10:20 a.m. Citizens wishing to provide review are invited to attend.
The Border 2020 plan helps guide and coordinate binational efforts between the U.S. and Mexico to enhance public health and the environment along their shared border.
