E.P.A. and Partners Lend a Green Hand to North Gulfport Middle School Students

ATLANTA - Representatives from the E.P.A. (EPA) together with the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) and the Land Trust for Mississippi Coastal Project will present experiential environmental learning opportunities for 8 grade students at North Gulfport Middle School on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015, beginning at nine a.m.

Principal Regina Lewis will open the plan and give an overview of the day. Students will then break into small groups and rotate among stations featuring green, hands-on experiences. The activities have been carefully chosen to increase environmental literacy of the Gulf of Mexico, promote stewardship and support children's health.
