The Sustainable Buildings Industry Council's (SBIC's) 2005 Forum: The Ripple Effects of Integrated Design: Sustainable and Durable will be held on SBIC's "Super Thursday" in conjunction with the Ecobuild Federal conference in Washington, DC on Dec. 15, 2005.

The Energy Policy Act of 2005 and the recovery from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita provide new challenges for the federal agencies' building design and construction programs.

These critical topics will be presented within the Sustainable Buildings Industry Council's Plenary and 2005 Forum in the context of an integrated "whole building" approach to design.

The goal of SBIC's "Super Thursday" is to educate federal attendees, practitioners, building owners and managers, and students on the latest trends and current state of sustainable design in America's built environment.

SBIC is pleased to declare its plenary speakers will be Undersecretary of Energy, David Garman, Dr. Get Moy, P.E. Director Installations and Environment for DOD and Dr. Charles Korman, Chief Technologist for GE's Global Research Center.

For more details and to register for SBIC's "Super Thursday" Plenary and Forum, please visit the Ecobuild Federal Website at http://www.ecobuildfederal.com/sbic_st.shtml

Special early bird rate for federal attendees is in effect until Dec. 1.
