SunEdison Interconnects 16.4 MW Solar at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base

SunEdison, a solar technology manufacturer and provider of solar power services, and MIC Solar Energy Holdings , a subsidiary of Macquarie Infrastructure Company LLC, installed a 16.4 megawatt (MW) photovoltaic (PV) facility on Davis-Monthan Air Force Base located outside Tucson, Arizona. The PV facility is expected to reduce the Air Force's utility costs by $500,000 annually for the next 25 years. The SunEdison Renewable Operation Center will manage plant operations through a contract with MIC Solar Energy Holdings.
