Google Invests $75 million in the Panhandle two Wind Farm

Google has finalized an arrangement to invest $75 million in the Panhandle two wind farm. The wind farm has a capacity of 182 MW and is located in Carson County, outside of Amarillo, Texas. The wind farm, expected to be operational by the end of 2014, was developed by Pattern Energy Group LP and will power 56,000 U.S. homes. To date, Google has invested over $1 billion in wind and solar projects.
