Three PM MTN: E.P.A. Daily Media Call on Gold King Mine Response

COLORADO, DALLAS, SAN FRANCISCO - E.P.A. is providing a daily update for members of the media via conference call on the Gold King Mine response efforts. E.P.A. is working closely with 1st responders and local and state officials in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Southern Ute Tribe and Navajo Nation to monitor water contaminated by the spill. The agency has activated its Emergency Operations System to ensure coordination among regions, labs and national plan offices in Washington, DC.
