Friday: E.P.A. hosts (telephone only) government press briefing on Enbridge Romeoville oil spill response

Chicago, Ill. (Sept. 17, 2010) - On behalf of Unified Command, E.P.A. officials, along with representatives of National Transportation Safety Board, Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Agency, Romeoville Mayor Noak and a representative of Illinois EPA, will hold a media briefing Friday, Sept. 17 - by telephone only - regarding the ongoing response to the Enbridge oil spill in Romeoville, Ill. E.P.A. has the role of Federal On-Scene Coordinator for this incident.

The conference call briefings will take place at one p.m. CT.

Officials with Enbridge will separately brief the media immediately following the government briefing on the same conference line.
