WASHINGTON - Today, Wednesday, September 16, E.P.A. Administrator Gina McCarthy will testify at 2 separate hearings on EPA's response to the Gold King Mine release. At 10:00 a.m. Administrator McCarthy will appear before the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment & Public Works for the hearing titled "Oversight of the Cause, Response, and Impacts of EPA's Gold King Mine Disaster." At 2:15 p.m. Administrator McCarthy will testify at the U.S. Senate Committee on Indian Affairs Oversight Hearing "EPA's Gold King Mine Disaster: Examining the Harmful Impacts to Indian Country."
