WASHINGTON - U.S. E.P.A. Administrator Gina McCarthy and Acting Chief Financial Officer David Bloom will testify Wednesday, April 29 before the Senate Interior, Environment and Related Agencies Subcommittee on the FY 2016 Budget. EPA's suggested budget provides resources to ensure the agency can make the investments needed to meet its mission to protect public health and the environment.

E.P.A. is collaborating with state, local, and tribal partners and working with business, industry, and stakeholders to find commonsense solutions to complex environmental issues and build a sustainable future for all Americans through effective use of public resources. The backing allows for important work to combat the impacts of climate change and deliver on the President's Climate Action Project while improving air quality, protecting water, executing rigorous scientific research and ensuring public safety from toxic chemicals.
