TUESDAY: E.P.A. Administrator to Discuss the Climate Action Project with Christian Science Monitor

WASHINGTON - On July seven, E.P.A. Administrator Gina McCarthy will be joining Recharge - the energy section of the Christian Science Monitor to discuss US energy and climate policy. The administrator will discuss the agency's actions to protect public health while encouraging economic growth and laying the foundation for a low-carbon future, including the Clean Power Plan. A world-leading economy depends on a healthy environment and a safe climate, which is why E.P.A. is working to implement President Obama's Climate Action Project to build more resilient communities and curb the carbon pollution fueling climate change.
