TODAY: EPA’s 2015 Technology Showcase in Ann Arbor Spotlights Heavy-Duty Vehicles

WASHINGTON - Today, Tuesday, October 13, the E.P.A. (EPA) will host the 3rd Vehicle Technology Showcase in Ann Arbor, Mich. The event will highlight advanced technology to increase fuel efficiency and reduce vehicle greenhouse gas emissions from heavy duty trucks. E.P.A. will also give out the yearly SmartWay awards to top-performing partners for cutting the carbon footprints of their freight supply chains.

WHEN:
Tuesday, October 13
12:15 p.m. - Press tour of lab ** Please arrive early, and no later than noon. It will take some time to go through security. Please be prepared to present valid media credentials.
1:00 p.m. - Event begins
1:30 p.m. - Media availability
