WASHINGTON, DC (April 6, 2015) - The E.P.A. (EPA) and the D.O.E. (DOE) are honoring 128 organizations today for their commitment to saving energy and protecting the environment through superior energy efficiency achievements. Energy Star partners are contributing to the prevention of in excess of 3.5 billion metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions through energy efficiency improvements.

"This year's Energy Star Partner of the Year Award winners demonstrate leadership and innovation that help their customers, partners, and stakeholders save energy while remaining competitive in today's economy," said E.P.A. Administrator Gina McCarthy. "These partners are to be congratulated for their commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and protecting our climate."

The awards will be presented in Washington, DC, at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel on April 20th. E.P.A. Administrator McCarthy and Jim Gibbons, Goodwill Industries International President and CEO, will provide keynote remarks.

"Energy Star partners help families, individuals, and businesses become more energy-efficient," said Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy David Danielson. "By offering energy-efficient products, services, and programs, this year's awardees continue to provide Americans with lower utility bills, new jobs, and fewer greenhouse gas emissions."
