SAN FRANCISCO - E.P.A. Administrator Gina McCarthy will join San Francisco officials, to declare City Hall becoming the oldest building in the nation to gain LEED Platinum Certification for Existing Buildings.

WHAT:

As San Francisco's historic City Hall nears its centennial anniversary this summer, the building is being acknowledged for new, advanced environmental features that will save water and energy. The plan and backing is a result of a partnership between the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC), E.P.A. (US EPA), and City Administrator's Office.
