A burn ban remains in effect for the Yakama Nation Reservation due to stagnant air conditions forecasted to continue in eastern Washington.

E.P.A. thanks reservation residents for their cooperation in protecting and maintaining good air quality.

  Green Tips
Plant a tree. Trees not only beautify your yard and increase the value of your home, they also absorb carbon dioxide pollutants and release oxygen into the air. A mature tree also helps shade your home from summer heat.
