2:30 PM EDT: E.P.A. to Hold Media Call on Updated Ozone Requirements

WASHINGTON- Today at 2:30 p.m. EDT, E.P.A. (EPA) Administrator Gina McCarthy will hold a press call on the updated ozone standards. Exposure to ozone can harm the respiratory system (the upper airways and lungs), aggravate asthma and other lung diseases, and is linked to premature death from respiratory and cardiovascular causes.

WHEN: Thursday, Oct. 1, 2:30 p.m. EDT
