  • New Jersey ranked 46th in Pasture Land Usage by using 40,000 acres of land in 2005. The average for all states for Pasture Land Usage was 11,500,000 acres.


  • New Jersey ranked 45th in Forest Land Usage by using 1,476,000 acres of land in 2005. The average for all states for Forest Land Usage was 12,768,000 acres.


  • New Jersey ranked 41st in Special Land Usage by using 811,000 acres of land in 2005. The average for all states for Special Land Usage was 5,820,000 acres.


  • New Jersey ranked 12th in Urban Land Usage by using 1,794,000 acres of land in 2005. The average for all states for Urban Land Usage was 1,168,000 acres.
