Chairmen Waxman and Markey Declare Hearings on “The American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009â€

WASHINGTON, DC - Today Chairman Henry A. Waxman of the Energy and Business Committee and Chairman Edward J. Markey of the Energy and Environment Subcommittee announced that the Energy and Business Committee will hold 4 days of legislative hearings on the discussion outline of "The American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009."

The hearings will examine the views of the Administration and a broad range of stakeholders on the discussion draft. The schedule for this week follows:
