US E.P.A. Administrator to Deliver Remarks at

DALLAS - (July 11, 2014) The E.P.A. (EPA) Administrator Gina McCarthy will deliver remarks to the National Association of Regulatory Utility (NARUC) summer meeting. Administrator McCarthy's speech will focus on climate change with an emphasis on the Clean Power Project proposal, a vital piece of President Obama's Climate Action Plan, which for the 1st time cuts carbon pollution from existing power plants, the single biggest source of carbon pollution in the United States.

The NARUC Summer Committee Meetings will combine utility regulators from federal, state and international officials. Participants will learn about the latest in regulatory trends and best practices. Participants will also learn current and essential utility sectors, including electricity, natural gas, telecommunications, and water information.
